Memorial Day Weekend

This is a little late in getting posted, but better late than never seems to be our motto.  We had a great weekend with friends.  We went to the base of the Big Horns and enjoyed a nice little camp spot:

The highlight of the the camping trip was the four-wheelers and the bicycle races down the "mountain". Kjelden and Brayden were patient enough to let everyone else ride their wheelers.

Another highlight was the HUGE marshmallows that were brought.  WOW  I don't think we could play the Fuzzy Bunny game with those!  They were HUGE!  Brayden thought they were awesome, but he could only eat a little bit of one before it had to make it's way to Mom's mouth.

Another highlight was Heath coming to retrieve the "stuck" mothers.  We were allowed to go on the wheelers for a few minutes.  I came up with the brilliant plan of calling to guys and letting them know one of my friends freaked out and was NOT about to come down the mountain.  So, they sent Heath to the rescue.  (Who else was going to ride the little wheelers?)

They weren't pleased when they found out it was a joke.  Even when we came into camp with a white peace flag (we won't go into what that was made of, for the sake of embarrassment).

It was fun to see the dads strut their stuff on the wheelers.  Heath seemed to go pretty good on the littlest of all the little wheelers.

Sheyna just kicked back and relaxed while everyone enjoyed themselves.

And then there was Simon.  He was feeling left out.  Daddy took off on the four-wheelers and Simon wasn't about to let him leave without him.  He picked up his bike and headed up the road.  He can't ride it, but he pushed it.  Sad, sad Simon.  It was pretty funny.

All in all, it was a great weekend.  Nobody got hurt seriously.  There was only a small stream of water the kids got in and got muddy. And it was fun to be with the company we were with.
