Simon's Patience

Simon has come up with some pretty funny things to say again. He sure has a cute personality. This one day he SO wanted to go to get pizza. He LOVES pizza. Probably one of his favorite foods next to scrambled eggs and sausage. So, yesterday, we went to Pizza Hut. On the drive there, he was working on some of his vocabulary. He is learning what words are bad words and what words are good to say.

Simon: I have a question
Dad: K.
Simon: Is "odd" a bad word?
Dad:No.
Simon: YESSSSSS!!!!! (said like Napoleon Dynomite)

Now why that might be so exciting, I don't have a clue, but it was pretty funny.

O.K. off the subject, but I had to share. It was cute. So, back to Pizza Hut. He was so excited when we got there and he got to order his own drink. Root Beer. He got to say he wanted sausage with olives on his side of the pizza. And then the waiting began. And he waited, and waited....




And then he waited some more. He thought it was NEVER going to come. We did get a reaction out of him when we told him that Buddy (Brad, his cousin) was working.


It was the slightest, ever so slightest smile. Patience is NOT one our best features in this household. But again, we waited and waited. And finally, the pizza came and what did we get out of him?


A CHA CHA CHA

Later that evening, after all the pizza was devoured, mostly by him, Simon was laying in bed and all of the sudden he yelled out and PUKED all the pizza out. Made for a great ending to a great day.
