And Life Continues......

And life does go on for the George Family....This might be a little bit of a long post, but then you will be caught up with us who are just really slow. This is our family. Kjelden, Brayden, Simon, Sheyna, and Cheston.

Life is hectic right now. I didn't realize that having five young children can make life just great and trying at the same time.

This summer, after having a baby, we decided we could make the trip to the Sanders Family Reunion, held in Utah. We had a lot of fun seeing a few sights and spending time with family. We got to go to the "This is the Place" Monument.
I loved this picture of Simon. He was watching the little train through the window and I couldn't pass that up. That was his favorite part of the monument.
We so enjoyed the day we went and played on the slip and slide. Brayden had a hard time going by himself until the end, but he loved going with the family member.

Everyone was involved in the sliding and the slipping. Sheyna wasn't too sure about it, but she got to go down the slide with dad and others.

It was absolutely fun to watch as the "men" in the family (in quotes cause this totally brought out the kid in them) had a contest.
Kjelden's main goal was to at least get to the end of the slide. He never did quite make it, but he tried, even by "swimming" to the end.

And YES, I even put in my courageous effort......

Please don't judge the absolute LOVELY looks. This is four weeks after having a baby. Yes, LOVELY, but absolutely a BLAST!!!!!

So, after having a great time and sorry about the last picture, we are onto the next phase in our life....school.

Kjelden is in fourth grade this year. He has Mrs. Black as a teacher, although his teacher has been absent this week due to the fact that she broke her arm a couple days before school started. (sidenote: don't stand on chairs). The other thing he has a hard time with is that his best friend is in the other class and the "bully" is the kid that sits right next to him. HE WILL SURVIVE!!!
Brayden is in first grade. He has Mrs. Fauskee as a teacher. On the first day of school, she just couldn't believe how quiet the class was, but they only have 14 kids in the class and they are ALL very quiet kids. His friend moved to South Dakota but he is making new friends and is doing really well.
Wow, what else is there to say? Oh yes, Cheston is growing like a ragweed. He is definitely gaining weight even though he doesn't do the normal schedule of feedings. He will sleep for about 4 hours at a time in the night (YAY) and he does pretty good in the day time too. We love to watch him and snuggle him and swing him hard in the swing and kiss him and all that good stuff. I wanted to get a good picture of him to show you how big he is getting, but we went from this:

to this........
to this..............
He loves to snuggle with mommy. But he LOVES to sit on Daddy's lap and talk and smile and talk some more. What a great time to listen to that. And Daddy LOVES it.
I did get a good picture of him......

HAPPY SIX WEEKS OLD CHESTON!!

And that is how our life continues. It continues and continues. Everyone seems grow and we are loving every minute of it.
